do you remember the time
before everyone was a celebrity
where there were windows still
and fewer portals
and many more mortals
what are we now
syrup and wheat framed galleries of meat
full of anticipation
stormed with doubt
red with anger
blue with sadness
yellow with joy
what were we then
worthy and ready to be discovered
but still not yet
I keep coming back here
to these memories
waiting for you to be here with me
or for there to be better wormholes
so we can be here together
at the same time
in the same moment
with the same feeling
the same glowing and healing energy
like China’s many suns
like Japans many red ones
like Nigeria’s many moons
and Creole ninjas
