"ANIME" - Kinyo (Music Video)
This was a fun project. I put some footage with Gary Vaynerchuck at the beginning. That was the beginning of a journey for me. I have to thank God for showing me how nothing in my life measures up to what he can do in a moment. If you knew the full story of the "Gary Vee" moment you'd find out God was the real one behind the scenes.
I'm Using Painting to make ONE local in Northwest San Antonio with ART WELL
I'm excited to be creating another event in one of my favorite parts of one of my favorite cities. Many of you know me from poetry, music, media, or business, but one of my favorite areas of exploration is art. I love painting and painters and am always interested in new art forms.
I took some of the biggest personal leaps with my art while living in the Northwest area of San Antonio.
The logo for my business Project Forward was created during a live painting within walking distance of where I'm doing the ART WELL event on Nov 2nd, 2019, at an event called Laughter Prescribed in 2015. (pic below)
I also created my first solo event at a now-closed African Restaurant two years ago in 2013 earlier in Northwest San Antonio on Bandera after being in the city for 11 months. (pic below)
The year after that I performed at a church youth group event "Katalambano". (post-performance interview below)
One year later Katalambano happened again, and that's when I really "laid hold", using live painting and event organizing to attempt to use art as a vehicle to reflect the beauty we all carry inside.
In fact, you can say something about this small area of this small city was perfect for an art awakening. (picture evidence below from 2015ish)
It's been a long journey, from first drawing classes in the Antelope Valley with my friends Oscar and Steve to taking painting classes at Northwest Vista Community College.
The latest event is going to combine my love of painting and painters, with my desire to highlight the atmosphere of culture that makes is little are of this often forgotten city to perfect place to take a journey through art.

Starting my Journey with Gold in the Millenial Way!
I've always been 'in' to the internet. Since I could blog I've blogged. I love searching for life on this barren wasteland because there are the budding trappings of REAL life out here.
Being able to live "on the internet" really means being able to live anywhere at all. Focusing on the parts of your life that matter most when they matter most, relationships, health, wealth, curiosity, peace.
That is what has led me here, to the life I live now. Part Thom Yorke, part Elon Musk, part Kanye Angelou Chappelle Tron Goonies Doctor Who Luther...
Karat Bars is an MLM. I used to be skeptical of MLMs then I realized everything is MLM. I still stayed away, but this is one I identify with. So if I can help YOU out by referring you I honestly feel like I'm helping you take control of the "wealth" part of your life, and doing the same for myself, so I can create more art. Art helps us take control of a whole different are of our life and doesn't need to be connected directly with money, it should be spread freely!
On the other hand, I do think money is important. A friend, Mr. Composition, said to me "Gold is Timeless" and it clocked, that's why I like gold. Buying gold is like investing in time.

This weekend was amazing, #VoteEarth at Gardopia Gardens was fantastic. The campaign is already guaranteed to plant 100 trees this year!
Super positive announcement! I did some live painting(#inprogress it's not finished till it's signed), read a few poems, shared the stage with passionate people!
Great snacks provided by the whole #TeamGardopia I literally coasted on that high all weekend! It is great to be able to make art, make artistic events and see how that effort translates to REAL positive change.
Everyone who came out or showed love in any way, YOU helped plant those trees. #StayTuned for what is next and go learn more about #VoteEarth from GardopiaGardens.org and Kinyo.org

I feel pressured to share that with other people however I can. I feel like for a lot of people they just need a little prayer, but sometimes, you also have to fight.

Getting Out the Vote, Stirring Political Dialogue with Growing Empowered Together
I've been working with Growing Empowered Together for what feels like a couple years. It's been amazing. I knew from the first time that I met Lauren, the kind of person she was, what I didn't know is how tirelessly she works doing the "small", "heart-centered" aspects of running a production company.
Growing Empowered Together or GET for short is a nonprofit production company that's been working to motivate San Antonio youth to include voting in their lifestyle.
I've hung out with the GET crew, I've hosted their show "Millenial Matters", I've hosted live events for them, and I've planned and conversed with the crew. I'm a part of the crew.
