Upcoming Events and I Want to See You There in January 2019
Most of all the reason why I like for people to go to "my" events is that if you have the time, why not? It's also a really good move if you already live close by. ...I know those are lame reasons.
All my reasons are that simple. Another reason is: I carefully pick events to be a part of that are really special, and I'm thankful to all those organizations I'll be partnering with. So, I'd like to share awareness of their existence to people who may have been searching for the resources they provide. Especially if that resource is quality entertainment AKA "art".

Thinking about Child Nostalgia and Making Music
I was made some music this morning. I think it needs a little more tweaking, but the part of me that understands how important it is to "let go" is telling me I should have it done latest by tomorrow. Music and painting can both easily become obsessions.
This song, ostensibly titled "Jungle Gym" is basically about the nostalgic melancholy that attaches comes up when we meditate on our childhoods, especially if that childhood was cut short by environmental factors, i.e. authority figures, unstable authority.
It should be out soon, keep your eyes peeled for "Jungle Gym". If it ends up taking months to come, then at least let me know what you think about the aforementioned issues with childhood either in the comments AND via email.

"Plane" is my Latest Music Release.
My latest track is one of my most favorite ever. I say that almost everytime I write something new, and as of writing this post, I haven't written anything newer than this. I'm glad I'm able to create a song and have it go up everywhere so fast.
I've been thinking about where my sounds come from. I've come to the conclusion that the largest contribution to my current work is nostalgia. I don't know if that will always be the case, but I suspect it won't be.
The music I'm creating now is perfect for this part of my life. I'm making songs that make me feel the excitement of my favorite indie music of my late teens, like Arcade Fire, Autolux, and Bloc Party. I also believe I'm drawing from the aesthetics I enjoyed so much in world, ambient and transcendental music.

"2019" Updates and Where I'm at With It
The track, which was expertly produced by Streetligion label founder Legacy City (can't stop throwing plugs at him because I'm thankful), will be soon on all streaming and purchase platforms under the new name "New Year's Resolution". The name change is so we meet guidelines.
